ASBAS Digital Solutions Mentoring Terms & Conditions

Information on how to participate and program details form part of these conditions. By participating in the Digital Solutions Mentoring program, participants agree to be bound by these conditions. Participants must comply with these conditions to be valid. These Terms and Conditions may be updated and amended during the program period.

The Program Deliverer is Darebin Enterprise Centre Ltd. trading as “Melbourne Innovation Centre” (ABN 55 078 961 707).

Participation in Digital Solutions Mentoring Program is open to Australian small businesses with an active Australia Business Number (ABN) with less than 20 FTE employees. Participants are required to either live or work in Victoria.

The delivery period of the Digital Solutions Mentoring program is 1st July 2019 to 31st June 2021. This delivery period is subject to change. No mentoring appointments will be scheduled after this end date. The Program Deliverer accepts no responsibility for incomplete mentoring hours. Participants must ensure to book their 2 hours of mentoring before completion of the program.

Participants must pay $25 (inclusive of GST) to undertake the Program. This price is non-negotiable. For this cost, participants are entitled to 2 hours of one-on-one mentoring with a participating mentoring consultant.

The mentoring appointments will take place at a location agreed upon by both the mentor and participant. Some program mentors only offer mentoring at a single, nominated location. If no agreeable location exists, the mentoring appointment can be undertaken via videoconference call.

During the mentoring appointment, participants will work with the mentor to develop and enhance their online business activities.

The Digital Solutions Mentoring Program is a part of the ASBAS Digital Solutions program. The Australian government requires reporting on program participants. Consequently, all participants of Digital Solutions Mentoring Program will be required to complete three forms: Digital Needs Assessment, Mentoring Engagement Plan, and Mentoring Feedback Form.

The Program Deliverer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants and reserve the right to disqualify any participants for providing false or misleading information during the registration process, such as an invalid ABN, or if the participant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Program. The Program Deliverer’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

Participants must register in their own name. The Program Deliverer reserves the right to request Participants to produce (within a nominated time period) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Program Deliverer’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm their identity, age, residency and/or eligibility to register and/or claim their place within the program. If the documentation required by the Program Deliverer is not received by the Program Deliverer (or its nominated agent) or the Participant has not been verified or validated to the Program Deliverer’s satisfaction within the time requested, that Participant’s registration will become invalid and a refund will be issued. Proof of identification, residency, and eligibility considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Program Deliverer.

The Program Deliverer acknowledges that the participant’s registration is confidential. Only the Program Deliverer and the Department of Jobs and Small Business will have access to participant information.
